2024 Main Events and Tournaments on Monopoly Go Explained

Look out for details of other events that are often happening on Monopoly Go, so you’re prepared to win big.

Golden Blitz

Golden Blitz is an exciting event for swapping your gold stickers, offering a rare opportunity to exchange up to five gold stickers per day from the event’s featured list. Since gold stickers can only be traded during Golden Blitz events, it’s the best chance to complete your collection.

The last Golden Blitz ended just 3 days ago, and we will keep you posted here about the next Golden Blitz in Monopoly Go as soon as it’s announced.

Partner Event

The Partner Event in Monopoly Go is one of the most exciting social events, allowing you to team up with friends to build and enhance attractions on your board for awesome prizes. Once you reach the fifth board, you become eligible to participate and can select friends to be your partners. Choose your partner carefully, as partnerships are permanent for the event.

The latest Partner Event – Robo Partners event, began on May 16th and ends on the 21st. As of this writing, the next Monopoly Go Partner Event has not been announced yet. We will update the top of the page with details as soon as we find out.

Community Chest

When you hit a Community Chest spot in Monopoly Go, you chip in some cash to a big pot in the middle of the board. But here’s the catch: to open that pot and get the rewards, you need to invite your friends to play. Once enough of them join in, you can all open it together and enjoy the prizes.

Landmark Rush

Each time you finish a landmark during this event, you’ll get some extra rewards.

Rent Frenzy

Rent Frenzy is a time-limited event where you’ll spot more rent opportunities on the board. That means you’ll be pocketing extra rent cash as you go. It works as you have more players on your board to collect rent from, giving your bank account in Monopoly Go a nice little boost for your property projects.

Bank Heist

Just land on a Railroad tile to start the fun. Pick vault doors until you match three symbols. You could score a small, huge, or jackpot win. This event’s my absolute favorite, especially when I see my opponents’ banks getting cleaned out.

Quick Wins

These daily goals help you inch closer to a weekly reward when you knock them out. Along the way, you’ll hit different checkpoints, each with its own little prize. To check your progress, just tap the “Wins” button down in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Daily Treats

Just for showing up and playing every day, you get some sweet rewards. And the longer you keep coming back, the better the gifts get.

Free Parking

This event pops up randomly every few days. As you cruise around the board, you start racking up free dice rolls. Then, when you finally hit the Free Parking spot, all those extra rolls are yours for the taking, along with a fat stack of cash.

Week-Long Events

These are additional events where rewards are up for grabs, differing from the categories mentioned above. Examples include Peg-E Prize Drop, Habitat Heroes, and various treasure hunts like Jungle Treasures or Egyptian Treasures. They typically occur in Monopoly Go every two or three weeks and span about five days.

Tournaments

Tournaments are time-limited competitions, typically lasting one or two days, where you’ll vie against other players to acquire temporary rewards. You can locate the ongoing tournament on the Monopoly Go game board via the icons displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.

Participation usually entails landing on a Railroad and engaging in challenges like Shutdown or Bank Heist to accumulate points. Similar to the primary milestone event, Tournaments feature a sequence of milestones, usually numbering around 25 or 30, with each milestone offering a reward.

Milestone Events

When it comes to Milestone Events, you can’t miss ’em – they’re right smack dab in the center of the game board, waving their banner. They usually stick around for two to four days and pack in about 40 to 50 levels, each with its own prize, throwing different challenges your way every time and promising big rewards for those who rise to the occasion.

Prize Drop

Now, for some Prize Drop action! These events hang around for a few days, giving you the chance to rack up tokens while you play. Then, drop ’em from the top of the board and cross your fingers for prizes. The more you play, the closer you get to filling that bottom bar for even more rewards. Oh, and don’t forget to amp up your progress with those multipliers!

Sticker Boom

Last but not least, look out for Sticker Boom – an event usually rolls in for about 20 hours every seven to ten days. When it’s happening, you’ll collect a minimum of 50% more stickers when you open packs. We’ll give you the heads-up right here at the top of the page when the next Sticker Boom comes.
